The Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Rome and the Mozambique–Italy Chamber of Commerce (CCMI), in collaboration with Assafrica, Confindustria and Assocamerestero, announce the holding of the Mozambique–Italy Business Roundtable (Business Breakfast), which will take place on 11 December, from 09:00 to 11:00, at the Westin Excelsior Hotel, Via Vittorio Veneto 125, Rome.
The meeting will be chaired by His Excellency Daniel Francisco Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique, who will be on an official visit to Italy on 10 and 11 December.
A strategic meeting to strengthen economic cooperation between Mozambique and Italy
The Business Breakfast will bring together around 25 leaders of major Italian companies, along with high-level government representatives from Mozambique and Italy.
The main objective is to deepen economic dialogue, strengthen strategic partnerships and identify concrete investment opportunities in the sectors of energy, agriculture, technology, industry and infrastructure.
Among the authorities attending are Undersecretary Silli, the CEO of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Scannaoieco, Ortona of the Mattei Plan, and the CEOs of Saipem (Alessandro Puliti), Baker Hughes (Lorenzo Simonelli), Nuova Solmine (Luigi Mansi), Leonardo Group (Simone Santi), Fincantieri, We Build, Leonardo, Renco and Faresin, among others.
Over the two-day visit, Mozambican Ministers held bilateral meetings with Italian companies, including those in high-tech sectors, digital innovation and transport, as well as the well-known energy and gas sector.
